Music theatre performance by composer/saxophonist Kika Sprangers for saxophone and women's choir.

The relationship of life with the unchanging and powerful cycle of the seasons shows how relative everything is. How not so much self-development, but the connection between everything and everyone is what life is all about. There comes a moment for every child when this awareness descends. Daughter tells the story of the universal phenomenon of a daughter who grows up in nature and becomes an adult in a plundered world. A girl - born of a father and a mother - who approaches the world like an animal that moves cautiously through a landscape. Daughter tells a story about growing up, the path to awareness, rebelling against it, and ultimately finding your own voice.

With music, text and staged light installations, the musicians take you by the hand. You undergo a three-dimensional experience of charged, lyrical and deeply emotional expressions as well as frivolous scenes.

Daughter is a through-composed work with compositions by Kika Sprangers, Patrick Burgan, Stravinsky and The Bulgarian Voices, among others.
